What does a birth and postpartum doula do?
A doula is someone who supports you throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum. This can look like that question that is nagging you and you just need an answer but google is scary so you ask your doula! This can also look like talking about how your doctor/midwive's appointment went! Trust me, your doula will be excited to talk about it! During labor a doula has a toolbox of things that we can do that will support you! To know more what that looks like, you can schedule a FREE consultation!
When should I hire a doula?
The sooner the better! The sooner you hire a doula, the more support you will get!
Do you accept insurance, specifially Soonercare?
Yes! I now accept Soonercare and SoonerSelect (Humana and Aetna, Hopefully Oklahoma Complete Health Soon!
Do you accept payment plans?
I absolutely do! Typically, this will look like a 30% deposit/retainer, one payment of 50% of the remaining balance and one final payment. I am 100% willing to work with you, however! Please don't hesitate to ask!
