Hi there! I am so glad you are here! My name is Heidi Jones. I am a Christian birth and postpartum doula as well as a lactation educator.
I met my husband in high school and we have been married for fifteen years, together for almost 20! We have four kids ranging from teens to a toddler! I have been through the gambit with my own birth stories. With my oldest, I was induced and had an epidural with a vacuum assist. With my middles, both were unmedicated births but my youngest middle was a shoulder dystocia. My last and final was a c-section by my own choice.
What I learned from my varied births is that there is no right way to have a baby. You do what is best for you and your baby. My hope as a fellow mom and doula is to come alongside you throughout your pregnancy, labor/delivery and postpartum to support you both emotionally and physically.

Why June?
In 2017 my sweet Nana passed away but before that, she lived a beautiful life as a wife and momma to three but mostly she loved Jesus deeply. My Nana’s name is Wilda June. When I was a little girl, she loved to tell me the story of how she became pregnant unexpectedly at the age of 35 with my Momma. She loved my Momma in such a beautiful way and my mom turned around and loved me the same way. When I became pregnant, they both called me every day to check on me. My Nana was present and provided support during my first two births through sweet hand holds, rubbing my back and quietly praying. My mom read scripture over me to calm me. When I wasn’t so calm and yelled that I wanted the drugs with my second baby, my Nana got flustered with my Momma when my mom told her I was just saying that and that I didn’t mean it. Of course my Momma was right, I had told her so before I had gone into labor. I had forgotten to give Nana the memo. 😂 To honor my Nana’s legacy I chose the name June Doula Services. She was the ultimate doula. To honor my other grandparents I have named each of my care packages after their birth flowers. My Poppy and Poppa were so supportive of me and loved me in a way only a grandpa can. My Gramma was not only present for my first two births but also provided help during my postpartum recovery for all four of my babies.
Of course, I wouldn’t be on this doula journey without the support of my favorite birth partner, my husband Tim.
Thank you for supporting this dream of mine.
